Digital is a team within XR UK Operations comprising a number of sub-circles who are responsible for XR UK's digital infrastructure.

There are a variety of roles available within XRUK Digital.

We want to discuss what skills and experience you can offer and see where you may best fit into our expanding, friendly team.

You should have an interest in 1 or more of:

  • XR UK's website using Wordpress,
  • Action Network - an application controlling our rebels' data, used to send emails and bulletins to any or all parts of the movement. Write compelling emails using Action Network to our rebels and understand data security.
  • Communications platforms such as the Hub, Mattermost, NextCloud, the Forums (based on Discourse) - our bespoke system holding details of the many groups and teams across the UK and regions and central teams.

    The Hub needs developers with skills such as: C#, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Debian system admin.

  • Graphic design accessibility.
  • GDPR / Security - cyber security, ICO processes, data protection and compliance.
  • Business analyst - to promote our services and understand our users' systems and where they need help and support.
  • User trainer - support rebels in using the Hub and XR's dedicated communication tools, spreadsheets, documents, forms and give general IT support.
  • Documentation writer.
  • Social media support.
  • Project Coodinator - with XR experience to manage tasks and projects.
  • Data / systems / process architect to help develop our Digital strategy.
  • Knowledge of CRM to help us develop and implement our CRM system on ERPNext.

Location: XR UK (UK Wide)

Implementing, through the collective decision of its subcircles, tactical plans to execute XRUK Strategy. Supporting its subcircles to fulfill their mandates and tactical plans through individual subcircle and build cross-circle projects. Supporting its subcircles in the decentralisation of its teams where possible.
