🌱 Help Local XR Groups Grow and Flourish! Do you have some experience with XR and are looking for a new way to make an impact? Do you enjoy supporting and encouraging others? Would you like to help local groups in your area thrive?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and supportive Assistant Gardener to work alongside our current Gardener in the North, helping to strengthen connections and empower more local groups. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in building a stronger, more resilient movement.
✨ What You’ll Do:
Work within your local area (which we can define together—e.g., Cumbria or the North East) to build relationships with local groups.
Support groups by attending events and actions, helping them grow and develop.
Collaborate closely with the North Gardener to ensure that groups receive ongoing support.
🤝 What We’re Looking For:
A positive and encouraging attitude—experience is great but not essential!
Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person visits to local groups, usually during evenings or weekends.
Capacity to contribute around one evening or afternoon per week for group visits or actions, plus about one hour per week for meetings (with local group reps and the anchor circle).
🌸 Opportunities to Grow: This role offers plenty of support and the chance to develop skills in areas like:
Delivering training sessions
Facilitating meetings
Planning and coordinating events
If you’re passionate about building community and supporting local XR groups, we’d love to hear from you!
