Back Office happens behind the scenes, but it is an essential and rewarding part of supporting rebels during actions. It's a great role for anyone who can't join an action as you can work from home! Shifts can be fitted around your schedule, e.g. day, evening or night shifts.

The two main roles in Back Office involve:

  • Telephone support to arrestees in custody, their friends and families.
  • Arranging rotas for Police Station Supporters, mainly done using WhatsApp groups.

You can choose either role or both. Training will be provided, as well as support throughout your shifts.

If you’re interested please join the XR Back Office New Volunteers Signal chat and a coordinator will then message you to support with training.

Signal is a chat app [like WhatsApp] - you can download it from Playstore or AppStore.
