This is an important and satisfying role as you will be ensuring XRUK's Digital services are financed and
key team members have the financial support they need to volunteer.
No detailed knowledge of Digital functions is needed.
Most of the time, you will approve expenses for :
You will also submit budget requests for very occasional ad hoc expenses
You will check expenditure against budget and take action if there is some deviance in either direction.
Every 6 months, you will help to prepare and submit a budget for the next 6 months, based on previous expenditure.
Budget approval is by the IBG (Integrated Budget Group) and is based on XRUK's projected finances at the time.
Next round of budget requests is in June.
You may occasionally liaise with the IBG.
You may occasionally liaise with the Finance team if support or financial advice is needed.
Full training will be given.
Current and previous budget holders will provide a full handover.
Although XR supports financial transparency and integrity, details of budget holders and anyone claiming expenses are not published,
to protect their privacy
