The role can be shared between two people, reducing the time commitment necessary.
XRUK Assemblies is a team that sits in Operations. We are a happy, supportive and well-established XR team. Our purpose is that XRUK has the knowledge and support it requires to promote the Third Demand and that XRUK, Local Groups, Regions and Nations have a broad understanding of the power of deliberative democracy, and have the support they need to run community assemblies as required.
The Communication Lead role ensures that the circle is contactable across and outside of the organism with clear outlines of what the team does and who to contact.
Tasks include:
- Answering or forwarding online communication requests to this team to the wider movement. E.g. the circle’s email account.
- Checking other external communications channels, such as a Mattermost Reception.
- Creating regular summary updates and specific posts of the team’s work/projects to share with other groups.
