General Team member. OR Skilled Conflict Worker
Do you want groups in XR to become more resilient and effective in how the handle conflict?
Do you have enthusiasm and/or experience engaging with conflicts in XR or elsewhere?
Could you commit at least 4 hours per week working with our lovely team for at least 3 months?
If you answered yes, then the Transformative Conflict team might be for you! Background of our work:
The main strand of our work for the past months has been developing a set of tools that will help people handle conflicts within XR.
This project is now in the phase of gathering & incorporating feedback from wider circles, then we will move into the 'implementation' phase of training & supporting people to actually start using them in their groups! So it's an exciting time to join the team.
So there is lots of opportunity to interact with local groups. This work may involve training, workshops and supporting & talking with people from all over XR
We would also particularly like help with our 'Direct support' that we offer to people experiencing conflict in XR.
That currently consists of:
A facilitated process, involving a number of people and two trained facilitators.
Conflict Coaching, provided to individuals by a trained coach for 2-3 sessions, for people who have got in touch with us through our email.
This work involves:
**If you are a trained/skilled conflict facilitator/mediator and might be up for handling live conflicts in XR, please get in touch telling us about your relevant skills and experience**
There is always lots going on and we will do our best to accommodate your interest/availability, so please do get in touch!
Thanks for reading. Hopefully hear from you soon at firstname.lastname@example.org or through this site

Location: XR UK (UK Wide)
We are a small team who strive to encourage healthy ways of working that develop resilience and reduce the risk of conflict, but who find creative ways of tending to conflict when it does arise. We provide a 'holding space' for both interpersonal and systemic tensions that arise within the movement and in doing so we develop a wide-ranging view of the needs of the movement going forward. We provide support for each other as a team and continuously seek to improve the service we provide.
