Having a spokesperson can be the difference between an action making an impact in the news, or not. XR Cymru's Media and Messaging team are often offered media coverage for their actions, but are unable to find a Welsh speaker when requested. This is where you could come in! If you're up for taking interviews over the phone, on video conferencing software, or in person, we need you! We only get Welsh spokesperson requests a few times per year, so you would have a big impact with little effort. If you needed to travel, your costs would be covered. If you're not confident in a certain subject for a particular interview, the Media and Messaging team can write a brief and translate it into Welsh, which you could then be given to read.
