Meeting Time:Mondays 12:00-13:00 [you won't need to attend every meeting] & ad hoc meetings with the Digital sub-circles.
Meeting Format:Conference call
Meeting Schedule:Flexible except for team meetings, role can be shared

The Digital Circle is a UK-wide team which supports and develops XRUK’s software, platforms, websites, messaging systems, security and data protection. It keeps up with developments in technology and responds to and supports requests for new functionality.

The main sub-circles within Digital are:

  • Action Network Support: our email list
  • Digital Discussions and Applications (DDAT) - mainly Mattermost, the Hub and other comms systems
  • GDPR and Security
  • Applications Hosting - servers, stability, upgrades, sys admin

      The Internal Coordinator role involves:

      • managing the team’s immediate and longer-term priorities, and supporting team members to achieve those priorities using best practice project management.
      • suggesting roles and projects the team needs to fulfil its purpose.
      • maintaining an awareness of what is happening in the wider organism, e.g. through regular conversations with the External Coordinator
      • attending meetings of the super-team and bringing relevant information back if the External Coordinator is unavailable.

Implementing, through the collective decision of its subcircles, tactical plans to execute XRUK Strategy. Supporting its subcircles to fulfill their mandates and tactical plans through individual subcircle and build cross-circle projects. Supporting its subcircles in the decentralisation of its teams where possible.
