Digital Rebellion is moving into a new and exciting phase of Digital Actions. We will soon be launching it's new website and campaign pages, which will offer a range of different opportunities to take Digital Actions remotely each week. The actions will be Social Media based, and also sending emails to MPs and Company Board members. The actions will be XRUK or sister organisation campaigns.

The Digital Rebellion team needs a new External Coordinator who can take a leading role in promoting the new website and campaign pages throughout the XR organism and with sister organisations

Role description:

Working closely with the Digital Rebellion working group's internal coordinators and team, the external coordinator represents the group throughout the XR organism. The external coordinator ensures information flows between the group and the movement's various circles and working groups. This role works well as a job share between two people.

External coordinator core duties:

Representing the working group throughout the movement, attending regular meetings including Actions Circle, Media and Messaging and Pathways.

Finding a replacement to represent the group in the wider circle meeting if they can’t attend

Managing information flow between this group and others as necessary

Assisting the internal coordinator(s) if they are away or over capacity

Being the main point of contact for other working groups and circles that want to speak to the Digital Rebellion working group

We ask everyone volunteering with Extinction Rebellion UK to:

Sign the rebel agreement

Adhere to our principles and values

Respect our regenerative cultures
