The Education Climate Coalition (ECC) is a coalition of climate action groups within the educational and academic sector: seeking to bring together student, educator, academic and staff groups into a shared space of solidarity and collaboration in order to promote a mass, united movement in our educational institutions. The ECC is focused on facilitating mutual aid between groups of different demographics, facilitating knowledge exchange and aiding and amplifying the actions and campaigns of pre-existing groups. The ECC is seeking a new coordinator to join our team and aid in the organising and running of the coalition.
Core Duties: Checking and answering emails Setting up and facilitating online meetings Seeking out and speaking to new potential coalition member groups Keeping abreast of actions and activities of member groups Contributing to a monthly email update to members
In this role you will be more than welcome to propose and lead new activities or events within the ECC and we would encourage you to make the role you're own and take on as much (or as little) as you wish.
