The Rebel Ringers team coordinates a pool of volunteer callers (Ringers) who make phone calls to our XR signups who have agreed to be called.

We're looking for one or more organised people to join our team as "Events coordinators", to help run training (where appropriate) and regular phone-banking events.

These Events Coordinators will support our team to make sure our pool of volunteers are trained to become Ringers and have opportunities to come together in "phone-banking session".

We need our volunteers to be trained and feel prepared to do as much calling as they want to do. Events coordinators will meet the needs of our existing Ringers and new incoming volunteers.

You won't be expected to handle all this on your own, a key aspect of this role is to create a rota of volunteers to support the smooth running of these events in whatever way you need. And of course, the rest of the team will help out as much as we can.

We will want to make sure our trainings and phone-banking sessions are up to date and following best practice, so you will need to be responsive to feedback and advice about how things can be improved.

Purpose:
Ringer volunteers are well trained in Rebel Ringers tools and ways of working, and have opportunities to take part in phone-banking sessions.

Accountabilities:

• Organise training sessions at appropriate times to meet the needs of Ringer volunteers.
• Ensure any training content to reflect current ways of working and best practice.
• Organise phone-banking sessions at appropriate times to increase Ringer volunteer participation.
• Coordinate a rota of volunteers to facilitate training and phone-banking sessions.
