One of the most exciting roles in XR will become available from 28th of April. The role is paid Volunteer Living Expenses. Job sharing is encouraged for this role. Applications close on Sunday 12th May for elections on Tuesday 14th May

The role of External Coordinator is essentially one of communication, representing Action Circle in its wider parent circle and other XR circles as necessary. The EC ensures a flow of information with other circles which are essential to actions, particularly Relationships and Media and Messaging. They ensure that all relevant circles are consulted and have input into UK actions and liaise with planners to make sure that they have the necessary resources and support.

They communicate with the Hive and take part in Open Calls to make sure that the wider movement is informed and resourced and that there is a flow of feedback between Action Circle and rebels on the ground.

The role suits someone who is familiar with different areas of the movement, is organised and a great communicator and problem-solver with a real heart to support and nurture a spirit of decentralised rebellion within the movement.

This role is being advertised by the following working group:

XR UK Action Circle

Location: XR UK (UK Wide)

The UK Action Circle is responsible for formulating and implementing the UK actions strategy, in line with the UK movement strategy. The Circle exists to empower, support and equip rebels everywhere to carry out actions in a decentralised manner. Action Circle receives proposals for UK-wide actions from the movement and supports them with networking and resources. In times of UK mass mobilisations such as Rebellions or The Big One, Action Circle holds and weaves together the overall planning.
