Meeting Time:Tuesdays 12-1pm, plus two weekly Actions meetings - Tues 4pm - 6pm, & Fri 2pm - 4pm.

Meeting Schedule:Digital Rebellion Tuesday meetings 12-1pm, other meetings to be discussed. This role can be shared.
Essential Skills:Good communicator, organised and proactive.
Desired Skills:Some knowledge of wider XR groups and circles desirable but not essential.
Accessibility considerations:If you're hard of hearing (closed captions can be used during meetings) or visually impaired, then the online meeting aspect may be a barrier. You would need to be able to use a computer/keyboard.

This role can be shared between two people, reducing the time commitment necessary.


Digital Rebellion aims to enable people to support XR campaigns through meaningful digital actions from home. 
We are are a growing team, with a fresh website and a big vision of creating a movement of digital rebels, to shout the truth, amplify the climate movement, and make accessible coordinated action online.

We are looking for an External Coordinator to attend the weekly Zoom meetings of the wider parent circle. The role would be to represent Digital Rebellion, flag up where we can support an action to other XR groups, and feedback information to the team about work we can do with upcoming campaigns.







This role would suit someone who is a great communicator, and finds getting involved with upcoming XR actions inspiring, and is interested to develop the Do-It-At-Home action idea.








You should be comfortable using a computer, using message platforms and using/creating shared documents. Full support will be given.





Accountabilities

  • Representing this team within meetings of the wider circle - if there are many meetings to attend at one time - we will share them between the team
  • Reporting on the health of this team to the wider circle, covering the work and effectiveness of this team in meeting its mandate.
  • Managing information flow between this team and other teams where this is not being done by link roles.
  • Assisting the internal coordinator(s) if they are away or over capacity.
  • Being the main point of contact for other working groups and circles that want to speak to the Digital Rebellion working group.
