Local and Grassroots Support is looking for an External Coordinator to represent this vital team at XRUK Operations.
Local and Grassroots Support is lovely team of volunteers from each UK Region and Nation who are looking after the Local Groups in their Region or Nation.
We are recruiting for a new External Coordinator to make sure the team is connected with other teams in the movement.
Responsibilities:
- Sharing updates from Operations meeting to Local Group Support in a non-biased manner
- Clarifying open questions that might arise from Operations updates in the LGS meeting
- Sharing updates from Local Group Support to Operations
- Connecting with External Coordinators of other Sub circles in Operations
- Arranging visits to the LGS meetings of other Sub circle Coordinators or non XR campaigners if necessary
Meetings:
- XR UK Operations meetings weekly Monday, 2.30 – 4.30 pm and Friday, 12.30 – 1.30 pm
- Local Group and Grassroots Support (Gardeners) meeting weekly Tuesday, 4 – 5.30 pm
- One hour of Local Group and Grassroots Support Coordinator meeting per week
- One hour of meeting with Operations ICs per week
