The External Coordinator (EC) for London represent the hearts and minds of the London Local Group Coordinator Circle and London Working Groups within XRUK.

As a communication bridge between XRUK and XR London, the role involves passing information in both directions, attending UK Hive meetings and London Local Group Coordinator Circle meetings.

The Hive is the widest circle in XRUK. It is made up of External Coordinators from regions and nations across the UK, and from key XR UK circles, such as Systems and Culture and Operations. It helps provide Governance and facilitate communication across XRUK.

As External Coordinator for XR London you are accountable to the London Anchor Circle.Please have a read through the XR London External Coordinator Mandate below:External Coordinator mandate (NB click on the plus sign next to External Coordinator).

You will be supported in this role by the London Development team, and the current London EC will be there to do a handover.You need to be able to attend the following meetings each week (or half of these if done as a role share):

  • Hive meetings (Mondays 12-2pm and Friday 10-12pm, zoom).
  • London Development Coordinators meeting (Mondays 9-10am London Anchor Circle meeting (Wednesdays 7.30-9pm)

It exists to support London Rebels and provide a connection to UK-wide circles, including the Rebel Hive.
