One of the most visible roles in XR at actions. The role of External Coordinator is essentially one of communication, representing Stewards Circle in its wider parent circle and other XR circles as necessary. The EC ensures a flow of information with other circles which are essential to actions, particularly Actions Support and Action Planners. They ensure that the necessary resources and stewarding support is available.
The role suits someone who is familiar with different teams involved in actions, is organised and a great communicator and problem-solver with a real heart to support and care for rebels taking part in actions.

Location: XR UK (UK Wide)
The Stewarding Group coordinates stewarding for XR events and actions. Part of Action Support, Stewarding is primarily involved in ensuring the safety of everyone at XR events and actions. We provide training for Stewards and advice for action planners. We have a pool of volunteer stewards and manage recruitment for major rebellions etc.
