The Finance team is a small, dedicated team who look after payments into and out of the movement, and the statutory compliance aspects of being a limited company. We are now looking to take on more responsibility for the budgeting process. We are looking for someone who will be able to talk to budget holders from across the movement, in order to give them advice where needed, and to gather details of their plans for spending. This will enable the role-holder to collate a 6-month forecast, and then monitor progress on a monthly basis. There will be some peaks and troughs in workload from time to time. Accountabilities are - * Carry out the liaison role between the Finance circle and other key circles within the movement in order to assist them with their budgeting process * Act as first point of contact for the Operations Budget Holder and other mega-circle Budget Holders. * Work closely with the Fundraising circle in order to incorporate their knowledge of projected income, in order to optimise the accuracy of the modelling of the movement budget * Produce monthly financial reports (using Xero software, and incorporating knowledge gained of trends within the movement) of budgeted, forecast and actual figures to share with other circles including the Integrated Budget Group * Attend weekly meetings with Finance, and represent the Finance circle within the wider Systems and Culture circle * Assist with the creation of the movement budget forecast produced twice a year * Act as Budget holder for the Finance circle
