Role Description: This role is to be a job-share as we're looking for an additional Gardener to help our lovely existing South East Gardener. The focus of the role is building relationships with Local Groups in the South East by supporting them to work towards their goals and overcome problems. As a Gardener you will help to funnel resources from UK wide circles and bring feedback of unmet Local Group needs to the wider movement. You should be comfortable working on a computer, using spreadsheets and XR's digital tools (you will be trained in any that you are not familiar with). The Local Group Support team is a friendly and supportive group of rebels. Each Gardener focuses on their Nation/Region, but all come together in a weekly meeting to share expertise, ideas and to support each other. More details will be sent to you after you apply for the role. Training and guidance is provided throughout your induction into this role. Accountabilities: Participate in 1 or 2 bi-weekly Zoom Regional meetings with the External Coordinators of all the local groups. Held to share successes, wider circle information and collaborate to solve issues and help build the region Help build and broaden the scope of community Support the growth of new local groups in the region Support the regeneration of struggling groups Encourage local groups to implement the XR SOS (Self organising system) Attend regular National Gardener meetings to share learnings
