Meeting Time:1h meetings only when necessary
Meeting Format:Conference call
Meeting Schedule:Daily check of channels for incoming broadcast posts to edit and schedule (10 min - 1hr)
Essential Skills:Consistency, Reliability, Attention to detail, Proofreading, Editing, Working to Deadlines
Desired Skills:XR experience, Image editing, Time flexibility, Proactive, Good decision maker
Accessibility considerations:If you're hard of hearing (closed captions can be used during meetings) or visually impaired, then the online meeting aspect may be a barrier. You would need to be able to use a computer/keyboard.

Join a small team responsible for shaping up and sending broadcast posts to XRUK. Help get accurate and engaging info out to the movement. Image editing a bonus.

This role would suit someone with experience in journalism, working to tight deadlines.

You will:

  • Develop your awareness of wider XRUK circles
  • Help guide and steer the Broadcast team
  • Arrange occasional meetings
  • Work together with the Broadcast External Coordinator
