Essential Skills:Good communications, basic tech and administration, listening and working as part of a team. Some knowledge of the movement needed.
Desired Skills:Located within the South East. Facilitation, some experience of running meetings and representing others.

Purpose of the role: To ensure that the Regional team is healthy, well supported and is achieving the mandate of the South East Region. Role Description: You’d be part of a small friendly group who work together to support the local groups in the South East region. We meet regularly to share successes, collaborate on actions and learn from each other. The role is primarily that of looking after the regional groups. Encouraging as many group EC’s to join and contribute to our regular meetings by sharing forthcoming actions and ideas. This is an important role that helps to build and maintain the strength of the movement in the South East. As such you will need to have a good understanding of how XR works and be voucher for by known members. Candidates will be contacted by a member of the Anchor circle for a chat. After that they will be asked to join one of the regular meetings and say a bit about themselves and why they want the role. Elections will follow with the representatives from the regional groups voting for the candidate. Role Accountabilities: Set up and run in 1 or 2 bi-weekly Zoom Regional meetings with the External Coordinators of all the local groups. Held to share successes, wider circle information and collaborate to solve issues and help build the region Meet with the other core South East role holders on a bi-weekly basis to collaborate on projects to help build strength in the region (1 hour/meeting) Stewarding the teams immediate and long term priorities Propose roles and projects the team needs to fulfil its purpose Filling team roles when they become available Maintaining awareness of the policies of the team and broader circles Maintaining awareness of what is happening in the wider movement Hold the group admin role when no one else has been appointed
