  • Are you an experienced fundraiser?
  • Can you demonstrate success in growing income?
  • Do you believe in the power of protest to drive social change?
    • We are looking for a dynamic fundraiser to help XRUK to increase our fundraising capacity and generate income to support our activities in the year ahead and build the movement.

This is an exciting time to join a team critical to XR UK, as we prepare for our biggest rebellion yet. In April 2023 we want to bring 100,000 citizens to Westminster to demand an end to fossil fuel investment and the creation of a fit-for-purpose citizens’ assembly on the climate and ecological crisis. In 2022, we fundraised over £1m and hope for much more in 2023.

As joint Internal Coordinator, you will take a central role in a collaborative fundraising team. You will lead on fundraising strategy development for XR UK and be comfortable supporting volunteers across all income streams. You will also build long-lasting processes which will support the team and initiate new fundraising opportunities to help the movement be financially sustainable.

Our fundraising groups include public fundraising, grants, street fundraising, community fundraising and major donors. You will be experienced in 2 or more of these fundraising areas, including public fundraising/individual giving.

You will be self-motivated and can form strong working relationships with multiple teams.

You will work with our current Internal Coordinator so you support and deputise for each other and share ideas.

You will be experienced in two or more of the fundraising areas, one of which must include public fundraising/individual giving.

You will be enthusiastic, reliable, resourceful, flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
