We are looking for committed and experienced team members to add to our Legal Support circle. The roles will involve being a point of reference for questions relating to arrest, detention and prosecution of rebels as well as general issues relating to policing. This will include having an overview of our materials, to ensure they stay up to date, and helping to produce new legal briefings when the need arises. They will also involve liaising with our experienced solicitor contacts on these matters.
A legal qualification is not essential, but would be helpful. Experience of police and protest law and the workings of the criminal justice system would be invaluable.
If you think you match this description, do please get in touch here or at xr-legal@riseup.net. We need you!
