Are you a dab hand with a camera? Do you enjoy interviewing people and filming? Can you be where the action is on Rebellion?

The XR UK Live Team needs your help to get action from the streets onto our social media channels. Full training will be provided.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and areas, and are keen to increase the diversity in the team. We'd be particularly happy to hear from people based outside London. Hours are flexible!

Useful stuff to have:

• A phone (Apple or Android) that can take film, along with an earphone/mic set
• Phone data allowance - some assistance with this may be possible
• Battery pack - to keep your device charged (we can loan these)
• Energy and enthusiasm

Other equipment can be loaned when needed, such as mics and splitter cables.

We’re looking for people to:

• Take film footage - no need to speak to camera
• Present to camera and perform interviews
• A combination of the above - self presenting
• Join our clipping team to grab quality segments from the live-stream for social media and journalists (manager and team roles)

During Rebellion time we run the live-stream to XR UK Facebook and YouTube, with 1,000s of people tuning in to see what’s happening. This is vitally important as the press don’t provide comprehensive coverage, and certainly don’t always tell the truth. You’ll be on a rota with fellow streamers, usually half-day shifts, covering key Rebellion actions. It is fun, fast-paced, at times frenetic, and very rewarding.

Outside Rebellion times there are always actions we need streamers for, both in London and in the regions. Rebels are always coming up with spicy and non-spicy ideas we want to cover.
