New people sign up to Extinction Rebellion every single day! We need you to help us call them soon after they sign up, to help them find their place in our movement.
The simple act of picking up the phone is so powerful. It is authentic communication at its best, where two people engage in the most effective communication known to us: talking to each other. We welcome new joiners to the movement; inviting rebels to events and helping them get involved in other ways.
This isn't cold calling, we only call people who have signed up to hear from us. You don't need any special software to make calls, only a device with a web browser (like a laptop) and your own phone. We offer full training and support, and run group phoning (phone-banking) sessions to share our experiences and get to know each other.
We meet online on Monday evening for 1-2 hours where we make calls together, and you can make the calls flexibly in your own time instead of in the group sessions.
