| Accessibility considerations: | If you're hard of hearing (closed captions can be used during meetings) or visually impaired, then the online meeting aspect may be a barrier. You would need to be able to use a computer/keyboard. |
The South West M&M Coordinator coordinates the channels including updating the website, Broadcast channel on Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linktree [where these are all linked]. If you can use Action Network and WordPress or are happy to learn that would be great.
XRSW M&M involves coordinating press for any region-wide actions if they come up but this is in liaison with the South West team and other local group Press Officers, so if you have some prior public relations or journalism experience that would be useful but it's not a necessity.
You will need to be able to access Mattermost and be able to use Signal for coordinating comms and other M&M contacts.
A laptop and smartphone are essential but please flag if this is an issue for you and we'll do our best to support you.
The outgoing M&M Coordinator will give support and training.
