Do you enjoy meeting new people and helping them to learn new things? Then this is the role for you!

Explore XR is a newly formed team. Our priority is to provide new joiners [‘Explorers’] with an overview of the full range of ways they can get involved in XRUK. We then aim to help everyone who wishes to find the option most suitable for them.

For our Explorers, we offer a collection of talks, training and workshops, with regular check-ins. We hope to offer each Explorer a buddy [that’s you!] to support them and, if they wish, to help them find their place in the movement. This is where you come in. As part of our new team, you will focus on supporting our Explorers, understanding their very varied needs and guiding their journey into XR. Ideally, you already have relevant skills and some experience of XRUK but excellent training is available and lots of support will be given by the Explore XR team.

The role would suit someone with a small amount of time each day, or over a couple of days a week. As the team grows there may be ad hoc meetings with the other Explorer Support team members. Our full team meets every Tuesday at 12.30 on Zoom and we’d love you to pop in when you have time.
