Essential Skills:Communicating a clear message through the use of engaging words, pictures and video.
Desired Skills:Media or copywriting experience is helpful.

We are looking for someone to join the Pathways team in a communications role, to help us recruit and support people as they find their place within XRUK.

This could be through writing posts to promote XRUK activities, publicising talks and training or vacant roles, liaising with Pathways teams or other XRUK teams. This is a chance to learn the role by shadowing the existing comms lead before taking on and sharing duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing posts for XRUK’s Telegram channels, creating occasional content for emails and website pages.
  • Attending weekly Pathways meetings to understand what is happening within the team and wider movement.
  • Liaising with other UK-wide and regional teams when necessary to help promote Pathways work and regular activities including Roles Fayres.
  • Supporting the Pathways team with communications insights to help XRUK recruit, retain and equip people in their journey within XRUK.
