Speakers and Trainers for XRUK Talks, Training & Workshops

Do you enjoy speaking to small online groups? Do you want to help give the best possible welcome to people new to XR? Then this role could be for you!

The Talks & Trainings Team have several presentations & workshops which need new speakers. Intro to XR, Get Involved, Prepare for Action & The World We Want are our ongoing presentations aimed at inviting new joiners & setting them on the road to active participation with XR.

We run our talks regularly and alternate between a pool of speakers & trainers for each presentation. To start with you would shadow the existing speakers to learn the ropes, then co-present, and then take over presenting a session when you are comfortable. We have scripts and sets of slides so don't worry about having to remember everything! Also, you don't need to know everything about XR - if someone asks a question and you don't know the answer, it is fine to say you will get back to them.

If you are interested and would like to know more, please apply and we will get back to you. Thank you!
