This role can be shared between two people and this is strongly encouraged.
The XRUK Systems and Cultures team (S&C) is looking for candidates for their Internal Coordinator role, whose current holder’s term is expiring soon.
The role of the Internal Coordinator in this circle is essentially one of team building and maintenance; it involves proactively stewarding the team in their circles’ immediate and longer-term priorities, supporting people, identifying areas for potential development and filling roles where necessary.
The S&C is made up of groups who are working hard to fulfill different areas of the S&C mandate (link below), and exists to ensure the movement has the systems and cultures to sustain the movement and achieve Our Demands (please see the S&C team mandate - linked below) within the Principles and Values.
S&C meets once a week on Wednesdays 10.00-12-00.
This role is perfect for someone who is a good team builder, who finds it rewarding to help others play to their strengths and to work together to be far greater than the sum of our parts.
You should be comfortable using a computer, using message platforms (mainly Mattermost) and using/creating shared documents. There will be adequate handover, and support will be provided where needed.
