One of XR’s Principles and Values is that we are based on autonomy and decentralisation. XR UK uses a Self Organising System (SOS) to distribute power across our movement and enable us to manage without bosses. We provide training, coaching and resources to XR UK teams and beyond in how to use the SOS effectively. If you know about our SOS already, or would like to learn about the role, do get in touch!
Purpose of this Role
Coordinators (ICs and ECs) across the UK feel confident and supported in filling their roles in line with the SOS and/or self-organising parts of the Principles and Values.

UK Self-Organising System
Location: XR UK (UK Wide)
Our aim is to establish clear, functional, and transparent self-organisation throughout XR UK, which inspires, equips, and supports people to work effectively together in a decentralised way, whilst also maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships and accountable use of power. In order to do that, we provide training and coaching to individuals and teams in XR UK and take feedback on a regular basis to improve the ways we self-organise.
