About the Website Team

The website team is the creative force behind extinctionrebellion.uk, our primary public interface with the world. Having evolved organically over the past five dynamic years, the website is now due for some more transformative work. We're assembling a new website team dedicated to reshaping it into both the bold, public face of XRUK and an efficient pathway for welcoming new activists into our movement.

About the Role

As a Content Creator / Editor, your primary responsibility will be to curate and implement content, based on the finalised designs and requirements provided to you by the Coordinator and Lead Designer. The focus will be on translating designs into reality and optimising functionality and aesthetics for both mobile and desktop users.

The workload can flex a lot depending on what requests are incoming from the movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement finalised designs and requirements provided by the Coordinator and Lead Designer.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders requesting changes to the website, refining and enhancing their content.
• Manage and implement ongoing text-based changes to the website, maintaining a high standard of written content.
• Address a backlog of old content on the site that needs updating and improving
