WHAT YOU'LL DO:

This is a very satisfying role for anyone who likes to see new rebels flourish and find their potential within the movement, as well as giving new life blood to existing groups. Essentially you'll help recruit for new roles within Media and Messaging, and support new volunteers in becoming productive and happy members of the team. Media and Messaging supports a variety of media work within XR, from press, to social media, to graphic design, to spokespeople, to Rebel Radio, livestreaming and more. You don't need prior experience in any of these areas, but an interest in matching people with potential suitable skills will help.

You'll:

• Learn just enough about the Media & Messaging team so you can introduce it to new rebels (but field more complex questions to other members of the team)
• Post job adverts (like this one!) for skills and roles Media and Messaging needs, or search the rebel database for people with relevant skills
• Welcome new rebels into Media and Messaging and show them how they can get involved
• Introduce new team members to relevant people, helping them get settled in
• Check in on new rebels to ensure they have everything they need to succeed (this is generally once in the first two weeks, less frequently as time goes on)

• You like finding out more about what people are good at and matching that with what the movement needs
• You are open, warm, welcoming and communicative

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• An open, curious and helpful attitude
• Prior experience in people management, recruitment, coaching or facilitation is desirable but not necessary, the current volunteer doing this doesn't have any of these!
• Good at seeing gaps and needs in groups that need to be filled, and in writing effective job descriptions to help fill those needs

SUPPORT:

Another team member in the same role will help train you up on the volunteer jobs board, how to post roles, and how Money Rebellion works. The idea is to build a small team of Integrators who share the jobs of recruiting for roles.
