The Operations [Ops] circle's purpose is that the XR UK 2025-26 Strategy is successfully delivered to its fullest extent. Ops currently comprises of 11 sub-circles.
Two Link roles need filling and for anyone new to UK-wide teams, this will be a great introduction to Ops and other teams within Ops and its wider circle. The Link role holders represent Ops in the IBG and provide the information flow between Ops and the IBG. This means regularly attending both the Ops and IBG weekly meetings. Support is available for anyone new to this role.

Purpose:
The Operation team’s mandate is well represented in the Integrated Budget Group [IBG] team, by sharing relevant information and making non-governance decisions
Accountabilities:
- Representing the mandate of the Ops team in the IBG.
- Taking part in non-governance decisions in the IBG.
- Helping information flow between Ops and the IBG, by sharing relevant information.
- Communicating regularly with the External Coordinator of Ops. [Ops Expectations]
- Representing Ops’ views and priorities.
- Sharing weekly updates on what decisions IBG makes (approved and denied), how long and why.
- Telling Ops in advance when budget topics are coming up so input can be gathered.
- Asking for agenda time in Ops when needed e.g. where possible, check with Ops before voting on major issues.
- Giving regular updates on how the movement budget looks for upcoming months.
