We are calling for a London Rent Strike to demand both immediate reform & lasting change, to bring our economy back in balance with people and planet.
A London Rent Strike will mobilise and empower ordinary people to reclaim their political voice, and begin to understand our individual challenges in the wider concept of the climate emergency.
It will sit alongside other £ actions, to build pressure against the financial and economic systems that oppress us, and a government that fails to protect us.
We are about solidarity, not exclusivity. Landlords are invited to join us. We will actively seek to collaborate with other movements and organisations.
We will support people to find their collective voice during the coronavirus crisis, whilst continuing to highlight its deep and complex connections to the climate and ecological crisis.
