Meeting Time: Mondays between 10am and 12 noon, but you wouldn't have to attend every week.

Essential Skills: Approachable, interpersonal skills, highly organised, able to work with Google Sheets (spreadsheets on Google), basic knowledge of budgeting
Desired Skills:A background in budgeting or finance would be amazing, but absolutely not mandatory - you will receive training from XR.

Media & Messaging Budget Holder Role description: Working closely with the Media and Messaging working group's internal and external coordinators and subgroup coordinators, the budget holder submits budget requests to the Integrated Budget Group (IBG), tracks expenditures, Voluntary Living Expenses (VLE) and CCFB, and reports back to the IBG for fundraising and reporting purposes. Budget holder core duties: - Creating new budgets at the end of the current financial cycle, liaising with the M&M coordinators and subgroup coordinators to ensure all predicted costs are included. - Allocating and approving VLE and CCFB for members of M&M UK. - Chasing individuals to submit their VLE and CCFB claims. - Applying for VLE/CCFB for new members of the team as and when needed. - Approving VLE, CCFB, and expenses. - Tracking money spent each month on expenditures and people for M&M UK. - Reporting back to the IBG about what money was spent and what activities the money was used for to help with mandatory reports back to our funders. - Holding a firm overview of the budget situation for M&M UK, keeping the team informed of finances and what is or isn't available. - Attend XR's budget holder trainings and keep in close communication with Finance and IBG to keep up to date with developments, changes, and ask for their support as and when needed.
